New Homework Policy: 
Late homework (any time after beginning of class when I collect it) is counted as late. Each day the assignment is late, the score is divided in half. 


Example: 
On time assignment, 100% correct = 20 points
Late end of class to 1 day            = 10 points
Late 2 days                                =  5 points
Late 3+ days                              =  0 points


New Cellphone Policy: 
NO cellphones. If I see a cellphone out on a desk, I will give one verbal warning to put it away. After one warning, I will take the phone until the end of the day, or end of the week, depending on seriousness of the infraction.

Students receive photocopied sections from the work book to complete each week.  Packets are hand out on Thursday, and collected the following Tuesdays. 

Homework is due Tuesday, November 1

Exam 1

Exam 1 for English Conversation will be on Friday, October 14, 2011.

Students should study Unit 1 and Unit 2 in their textbook, as well as the corresponding activities in the workbook.  They should pay close attention to things they got WRONG, as those are more likely to end up on the exam.
